WDB Announces New Service Available for Businesses
The WDB is pleased to announce that two of its staff completed the WorkKeys Job Profiling Training on April 20, 2007 and is available to assist your company with assessments of your workforce. The Job Profiling Training is six weeks of distance learning followed by a weeklong intensive training period.
WorkKeys is an assessment tool developed by ACT. An ACT-Trained Job Profiler works collaboratively with groups of your employees to create a job profile through a task analysis that selects specific and most important tasks for any given job. Your employees serve as an important part of the job profile and they define the tasks and skills needed to perform the job successfully. The job profile will help you make decisions about hiring, training, and meeting requirements of the EEOC.
If you are interested in learning more about WorkKeys and the Job Profiling system, please contact Keith Lipscomb at (336) 373-3005 or Kyle Wolf at (336) 373-3032.
